I went to Manny & Olga’s and I did not like the pizza, but I still ate half of it.

After a disappointing run of ice creams over the past couple of months (they weren’t good, but I still ATE them, duh), I decided to just try the muthaeffing goat’s milk chocolate ice cream.
Just incredible. Beyond comprehension. One of the best chocolate ice creams I have ever had.
Found it at the Yes! Organic Market in Petworth. Worth the trip.

There are two dudes in the alley behind my house. They are either boxed in by a truck or have badly parked a truck. Either way, they can’t get out and they can’t stop bitching at each other.
One dude: “Why are you crossing your hands one over the other?”
The other dude: “Why are you sittin’ there, criticizin’?”
Pretty sure they are in love.
This is the stray and/or neighborhood cat that has totally suckered me into feeding him. I call him El Guapo, and I love him the most.
I own a condo!

GUISE
I’m signing contract papers tonight for a 1 bedroom in Petworth. I’ll still have 15 days to pull out of the deal with my money. BUT GUISE.

HOME (kinda) OWNERSHIP. Me? ME. No, me? Really? In Petworth? REALLY GUISE.
1. The DC Zoning board has heard plans to redevelop the local unSafeway into a massive store of awesome within the next 2-3 yrs! Actual, real redevelopment, not fake-news redevelopment.
2. Another 1BR 5 blocks away sold for the same price. Another condo building on the same block sold 2BRs for 100K more than my building.
3. All of the units sold in my building for the past 2 months have been for list price, plus seller subsidies on closing. The building has a condo board, has management (with decent yelp reviews), and is all owner-occupied. Everyone has contributed 2 months fees to the reserve funds.
4. Granite countertops. Laundry in-unit.
KKBB hates Petworth.
